| Delila Vandommelen 21.12.2010 | Photojojo : you may proceed and forget my whimpering as I have sorted out the mp3 issue - it's all PEBKAC (curious minds, read the fine print below) Back on topic : as a reference to the other train, my part hovers around 127 bpm. As expected the mp3 sounds just fine on my laptop and the headphones are not to blame. The encoder downsampled the 96khz flac to a 48khz mp3 which I didn't even notice as I expected it to use 44k. After re-encoding to from a 44k wav, all is good on Android, no matter what bitrate/vbr/cbr. Bottom line(s) : *HTC Desire on 2.2 can't play 48khz mp3 files properly. *Lamedrop is really handy for quick LAME encodings but is lacking sample rate options. |
