Ok i used to use reason 4 (tried fl never liked it) about a year ago moved on to ableton live and i love it but i mainly use it for ideas/performance and would prefer for making tracks to go back to a what you would class "normal daw" layout.

i just got a MBP and have allways been interested in logic as a program

so a few Q's

whats the learning curve like in logic?
whats the main difference between 8 and 9

and if anyone could point me to some videos that might help would be great all so,cheers.

Learning curve is simlar to any other DAW i guess.

I've used FL, Reason and Logic, i definitely found Logic easier to use than Reason - but i guess that's more personal preference than anything else.
I've had a little play with Ableton, and i'd say Logic is easier to get to grips with than Ableton so you shouldn't have a problem.

The differences between 8 and 9:

9 has some excellent features, althought i've heard of some bugs with the Flextime it looks awesome.

I stick with 8, mainly because my needs aren't that great right now.
