Fruity Loops or Ableton Live for using loops and samples Posted on: 21.09.2012 by Lawerence Madriz I'm trying to get a feel for which program to buy to use with my sample packs, not 100% sure which will have more options or be simpler to use. Someone help guide me in the right direction as to which or any program would be best for simplicity purposes. | |
Lawerence Madriz 21.09.2012 | I'm trying to get a feel for which program to buy to use with my sample packs, not 100% sure which will have more options or be simpler to use. Someone help guide me in the right direction as to which or any program would be best for simplicity purposes. |
Nikole Resende 26.09.2012 | There is no "better" program for what you want to do. In the end it all comes down to personal preference. Just get the demo version of each program and find out which one suits you best. |
Birgit Wiebelhaus 25.09.2012 | Ableton has a session view which is good for triggering heaps of samples live and organising your collection into a grid type format. |
Yukiko Beauvil 24.09.2012 | I use FL but I recently fall in love with Ableton' workflow. Its fast and to the point. |
Arline Receveur 24.09.2012 | They both excel in their own way. Both are great DAW's that you'll find something new in everyday. In no way is one greater then the other, it's all about how you feel using it. I felt as if FL Studio was great in the fact of simplicity, It just worked. Ableton on the other hand is great too but it just wasnt for me. Depending on how your wanting to use your samples, live or production? Ableton is great for samples but then FL Studio can almost certainly match it. Have a look at both the demo's and see how you feel using the both. Don't let anyone tell you A is better then B or vice/versa because really its a matter of taste (Providing your not using something that actually is a piece of junk ). |
Irish Scheppers 24.09.2012 | Hey man, i bought fl and loved it because it was something that was affordable at the time and affordable with my talent level. but live is just the bee's ( item #9). It is the best production program for you as a producer. ableton>fl |
Tera Baragan 21.09.2012 | I feel like abletons warping ability would make it better for sample work.. Most people tend to move towards ableton after they have been using other software. |
Monserrate Rupnow 21.09.2012 | I would choose Live, because it will grow with you more as you get more ito producing. FL is a great app too, but for me at least, the I found Live to be more flexible in the long run. |
