Word to that! Everytime I use my VCI out people are like "look at that thing thats pretty different" then you bust a few tricks and they are crowding around like, WOW! WTF are you doing with that thing!

Interestingly I saw the Auto-bots (UK/breaks) play the other weekend, they were using traktor, a trigger finger and even a wii-mote. They seemed to be using the clubs CDJ-1000s to control traktor as well but Im not sure about that...

I had a lot of people sitting and staring at what I was doing...some of them where dancing but for the most part I believe they wanted to know why I wasn't using the cdjs like all the other djs before me (and they probably just wanted to have a smoke cuz you can't smoke inside) . I had to drag another table over to setup on cuz the cdjs & mixer took up all the space on the table they setup for the djs. I wish more djs would go digital. Also, I had to laugh cuz the dj after me couldn't get his serato to work properly and it took him longer to setup.

Thanks Guys! I definately believe that I'm starting to turns some head on to the fact that I can do almost everything that they can with traditional dj gear and then some. I even sold my old vci to a friend of mine because he wants to learn how I do all the cool controllerism tricks. It's a slow start but I believe more and more djs are going to ditch serato and go fully digital!

yeah!! thats really great. Also, your now part of the people who give more credibility to digital djs around the world.

I won the title of Best Non-traditional DJ at the 14th annual Westword Music Showcase Awards. I've been using a lot of the tips and tricks that I learned here at DJ TT this past year and I believe this shows that it really worked to push me out ahead of the competition and garner some recognition. I love my SE.

Also, it was held at the Bluebird Theater which Faithless used on the album cover of Sunday 8pm

Wow. Mine arrived today. What can I say. I am new to DJing, but after doing months of research pre 2008 for the right controller, I know I have picked the best. Sod the VCI 300. Sound card and some lovely monitors next.

As soon as I have a mix knocked out, I will post up.

Ean, today was like christmas day. From announcement to reality, the last 6 months has been worth the wait.

I am sure you have a few plans up your sleeve for what is coming next. I wait with great anticipation. Rock on DJ Tech Tools!

I don't believe you need an adaptor as the unit is powered via your computers USB bus.

....Attemped delivery?! great, but whats that all about - I have no card or anything to suggest an attempted delivery, do i need to contact someone to pick it up or what??

What do I do?

Also, thanks for the videos - the unit looks great, hopefully i'll have mine in a few days and it wont get returned to sender - that'd be a mess!

The USPS website wrote for me: "Attempted Delivery Abroad, June 03, 2008", eventhough I didn't get a card or anything. Five days later I had a card from the custom-office in my letterbox..."

Like I wrote above I picked up my VCI today... So I guess you will get to hear about your unit pretty soon.
