So I will post a small thread with pics in order to make a proper comparison, but for now I can tell you that the quality is not as good, the sticker is not rigid and it is very easy to tear, also the application is extremly hard (I thought I was going to loose it a couple of times). As the genious guys from style flip decided to cut the overlay in 3 sections!!! (remember the metal plates from the vci you need to remove to install the Djtt overlay? the ones on top of the transpose and top part?) Well style flip does not consider removing this plates so they cut the overlay in sectons to fill this plates... Regarding on the printing... here I have to take my hat off.. the result was awesome... my desing looked perfect. Finally waht made me happy was thatu they cuted the cirular part of the overlay correspondant to the jogwheels... At the beggining I though that they were useless, but decided to give it a try and stick them on the back part of the jogwheels so I could flip them for exhibition purposes in case that the touch sensor would get blocked. But guess what... It dind |

Would be switchable, but hard to allign properly because of magnetism. |

I haven't held one but perhaps the cyan can benefit from a bit less saturation and a bit more white in the color (arcade edition). but then again im only going off of a photograph. if you don't have a designer on staff i'd be willing to kern the type for you so that it's Bauhaus approved it's the least i could do for the content i get from the site. |
Eleanore Neaville 26.08.2009 | Are you planning make silver overlay with 2_2 labels (like black version) ? |

MadMan Ajms 29.06.2009 | can anyone post a nice picture of a VCI-100 black with the 2.2 new, overlay on it? |
Eli Hergonz 25.06.2009 | Don`t ever hesitate buying djtt overlays? They are made from almost best quality material. Most of you never even see that material. It`s not regular self adhesive paper. It has chemical and moisture resistance as well as heat resistance -40 to 400 F, and its thick. If you even try to buy it and print on it you will have to pay at least 50$ just for printing and cutting. I bought the first overlay but now I am making my own, and it will be printed on PVC poor material. |
alfredo moreira 23.06.2009 | glow in the dark would be rad! also, i still really really want that nintendo controller overlay! i would buy that in a hot second. |
Lilliana Perris 23.06.2009 | GLOW IN THE DARK...GREEN on BLACK PLEASE! |
Xavier Emanuels 23.06.2009 | still time to submit more answers |

Roberto Viccione 18.06.2009 | I dunno... maybe making it rigid and the same size as the body of the VCI. The jog wheels and faders would hold it close to in place, I'd believe. Maybe just use adhesive magnets on the sides, near the screws, to hold them in place. |

nayit ruiz jaramillo 18.06.2009 | Would this be like Styleflip where a user could send in a DIY JPG that you would make an overlay with? Cus im sooo dubious about that company and i want a camouflage VCI. |
Xavier Emanuels 19.06.2009 | The overlays are the same used on Moog gear and are very very high quality. |
Lilliana Perris 18.06.2009 | I just got my overlay about a week back. Its WORTH IT!!!!!! Fits like a glove.....tough.....resistant.....does not peel off.....nadda! Looks cooler too.....all my mates agree! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA Worth every cent! Thanks DJTT! |
Verona Fashbaugh 18.06.2009 | Whenever I get the financial resources to buy a VCI, I would def buy an overlay, glow in the dark would be tight. |
Florence Alch 18.06.2009 | I would buy an overlay, Im just unsure about the rough textured looking background, they make the lettering look not as neat and tidy. I however would like an overlay, Im loving the silver DIY overlays as they don't look as cheap as the new ones with blue lettering. In all honesty (I know it's not financially practical) I believe you would make a killing on new metal plates. * edit * I havn't actually seen an overlay in real life, I was going off the arcade edition picture and after a second look the lettering looks pretty tidy, I believe the blurry picture gave me a misleading opinion. |
Lilliana Perris 18.06.2009 | FIRST! Glow in the Dark sounds like fun. BRING IT! |
