Firmware Issue
Firmware Issue Posted on: 29.12.2010 by Ulysses Satterfield I purchased a VCI-100 SE from DJTT in October, and tbh haven't really tried to use it properly until a couple of weeks ago. I watched through the video tutorials to get my head around the many different functions that it has to offer. I noticed when trying things such as the sampler and the FX routings that some of them aren't working at all, or are working with issues (random LED's lighting up etc.).After much fiddling about loading various mappings to try resolve it, I decided to find out what firmware I had installed - I got a slip of paper in the box with my VCI saying it was installed with 1.3, so I tried what was suggested on the video by pressing the left hand Sync\Key lock button with Traktor not loaded - the button did not toggle as expected. I assumed that the new 1.4 firmware must have been installed instead, so I tried holding the Slice and Echo buttons on the left hand side while switching the unit on - this does not enter the Disco Mode game as shown on the video. Have I been sent a VCI-100 that hasn't been upgraded? or am I just doing it wrong? Thanks for your help. Woody | |

Ulysses Satterfield 29.12.2010 | Just dropped them an e-mail. Cheers for the speedy reply mate. |
Leeanna Ayla 29.12.2010 | Pretty sure the toggle works in 1.4 as well. If you don't get the toggle then I would suggest calling the store. |
