Modifiers per controller? (2x xone 1ds why do I. . .) Posted on: 17.01.2010 by Ola Fornwalt It seems as though for my 2x xone 1ds I have to have a modifier for each controller. This means if I have M1 on one 1d activated it will not be activated on the other 1d, any thoughts on getting around this? | |

Shirlee Depiazza 19.01.2010 | O boy... if you've just built a full mapping for each you are in for a fun time combining them! Traktor isolates the modifiers per-mapping. Have a look up the top of controller mapping section. You'll have 2 mappings set up one for one controller and one for the other, these are isolated from each other when it comes to modifiers which can be useful (can give you more than 8 modifiers) but quickly becomes mind-blowingly hard to trouble shoot. If your just doing one or 2 modifiers you can duplicate the control (select in as all channels/ports for both mappings) and then putting the modifier on both. But if your doing lots of stuff putting it all in one mapping would be far easier to trouble shoot. |
Kecia Wnukowski 17.01.2010 | Don't see how, I suppose you set up your two 1Ds with separate midi channel to function both at the same time, I assume that unless it is a software information that would be sent to any related mappings (a sync state for example for leds) it is not possible only with Traktor alone. If I'm wrong, great I'd like to know how too it is done. What did you want to achieve with this modifier? |
