Need help with VCI-100 Mapping!

Hi guys, i have a vci-100 and i have the latest mappings provided by dj ranking s, but for the effects... my volume faders don't activate the effect in the second slot, instead they just adjust the amount of dry/wet which gives the same result as just touching the turntable and moving it. Is there a way to adjust the mapping so it can do this, i believe this may be a problem due to old firmware. Also how would you turn the third effect slot on with the volume fader.. i've seen ean do it in his videos by simply putting the volume fader to the bottom.
