Some VCI mapping questions with Traktor Pro
Posted on: 22.08.2010 by Retta Kozimor
Hi all,

I've been messing about and updating my VCI 100 and getting it nearly working how i want, but there are a couple of things I'd like to do with it that i just cant seem to get working right. Firstly I cant seem to get the loop button working on each channel, when pressed it doesnt seem to activate the loop, I'd like to press to activate and press again to deactive. I'd also like to set up the juggle buttons so the top two lengthen and shorten the loop on deck a and the bottom two to do the same on deck b.

Also I'd like to change the effect button on deck a to activate effect one and the headphone cue button below to activate effect 2 on deck a. Then the same buttons on deck b to do the same. As i like working with two effects and switching them as I want but being able to choose what deck they are activated on. At the moment i can only seem to get it to press the effect button it turns on effect 1 on for deck a and b.

Lastly I messed about with the djtech tools mapping for the vci 100 and found some of it a bit over the top for me at the moment, but really loved the when scrolling through the tracks it switching to full screen till you load a track, but cant for the life of me work out how to replicate that.

Sorry for the mega long post and any help would be great as i've been searching loads but not coming up with the goods.
