modifying a modifier? Posted on: 07.10.2010 by Treasa Maffucci is this possible? (ie one modifier changes a series of button's functions, but holding down another modifier while selecting this modifier will cause it to change the same series of buttons, but this time to different functions) if so, what commands need to be set?i thought i read something about this a long time ago, but just searched nearly every thread concerning modifiers, and couldn't find it | |

Dana Ordinario 06.10.2010 | I know it is possible it's all a matter of exactly what you want to do. The second modifier would more than likely be a toggle style modifier as it would be hard to hit 2 buttons + another button unless they were all next to each other. But essentially it would be something like M1 = 1st Modifier M2 = 2nd Modifier. So for conditions it would be M1=1 M2=1 | Button - Direct Set to Value 2 Then when mapping the other commands you would do M1=2 instead of M1=1 for the (Ctrl+Shift) Style key press. Hope this helps. This is all going from memory so if it's a little off I apologize but it should give you a basic idea. |
