/i...wtopic#p119968 edit the xml manually. you can add modifiers. stop BS flamewars about what DVS to use. to each his own. |
Carline Whichard 19.02.2011 | So you want to use the shift functionality in Serato without having to touch your keyboard / You need a Bomes or other script translator to convert MIDI TO Keycode.I believe there is a midi to keys software also called MID2Keys. Never tried this with the midi fighter in Serato but hey to each their own. good luck! |
Tatum Ansaldo 19.02.2011 | (I was joking) |
Kimberley Scampoli 19.02.2011 | I did upgrade it, still not working! Let me know if you guys have a solution... Thanks! -Tyra |
Wynell Henzel 18.02.2011 | The shift function seems to be a controller supported feature not the Scratch Live software. I'm going to try some shift mappings with my apc40, we'll see how that works. |
Carline Whichard 18.02.2011 | I believe you need to upgrade the midi fighter software to enable 4 banks mode internal. Ive never tried it on Serato but it should work! Will try toevening .....correct me if Im wrong! |
Wendolyn Simkus 18.02.2011 | My mistake. There is a shift function. Ok, so here's what i found. http://www.native-instruments.com/fo...d.php?t=112522 |
Wendolyn Simkus 18.02.2011 | hey, man. i'm not sure if i've ever heard of serato having a shift function. so i, at least, don't know how to help you.. |
Breanne Penge 18.02.2011 | Disagree - I beleive the industry standard DVS systems are Traktor Scratch and Serato. |
Harley Hendzel 18.02.2011 | imo, there is no industry standard dvs. you are just spotting regional trends. and i've used scratch live since 2005 and just switched to traktor. |
