TP2/TSP2 Kontrol X1 Deck/Sample Mapping (Biach)
TP2/TSP2 Kontrol X1 Deck/Sample Mapping (Biach) Posted on: 04.04.2011 by Nedra Fresneda Sooooo due to the request of many users who thought NI's new TSI was a big f*ck you to the people who used the X1 with the native mapping, I'm planning on merging these 2 bad boys.I will make them compatible with either 4 deck control (A/B native and C/D samplers) and as C/D (if you use a controller/TT/CDJ to control your main decks) being able to toggle deck modes on the fly for the lower ones. This TSI will contain both modes and you will be able to choose between them for tighter integration with your setup. Mode 1 (4 decks) will control FX units 1/2 and Mode 2 (C/D) will control FX units 3/4. If you use 2 X1 you can load both modes and have control over the 4 FX units but in the following layout 1/2 (left) and 3/4 (right). Any insight before I start working with my ultra secret resizable mapping window (not really)? | |

Edris Acevedo 03.06.2011 | This TSI didn't work for me at all with the revised settings for Timecode you uploaded. Has the new version re-solved this and ok to use with 2.0.2?? thanks for your efforts. |
Nedra Fresneda 02.06.2011 | Updated to v1.1 Changelog: Fixed "Beat Phase Monitor" bug for Deck D Fixed Shift + Loop Size incorrect behavior Shift + "< Beat / Beat >" now scrubs the track when the deck is stopped. To edit it's resolution order by Comments and search for "Scrub Resolution". |
Nedra Fresneda 28.05.2011 | MIDI is free, it's totally mapped in NHL. It will do what you want, hotcues included. You can switch independently C or D to sample mode without affecting the other side. The default state is C&D in track deck mode. http://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/m...ew.aspx?id=199 |
Phylis Casablanca 27.05.2011 | Is MIDI mode accessible with this mapping ? i'm currentlly overseas and just got myself an S4. I'll be only getting back home in a week or so. Therefore i haven't been able to use the S4 and X1 together yet.. but till then I've just been believeing about how I'm gonna re-align my setup. Basically I want to use the X1 in its Default mapping like I did in Traktor 1.2.7 but instead control Deck C & D(with hotcues if possible) and FX units 3 & 4. while leaving DECK A & B, FX units 1 & 2 to the S4. If I want to use sample decks I have a korg nano kontrol and will be using the 8 faders on that for volume sliders and 8 knobs for filters while launching samples via S4. Just want to know if this mapping is suitable for my purpose as opposed to another mapping (listed below) http://www.traktorbible.com/freaks/m...ew.aspx?id=105 Thanks heaps! |

I import both TSI's assign the left to device target A and the right to Device target B and the controller doesn't function properly at all. I have tried exporting the TSI, quitting Traktor and unplugging the X1 but still no joy. Only the LED's on the left side light up and the only buttons which work are shift FX1 and this switches Deck A to sample deck and vice versa. Any ideas? |

Edris Acevedo 21.05.2011 | Yo Padi man. Any chance of hooking me a up with that mapping? Thanks bro |
Nedra Fresneda 20.05.2011 | I'll upload it when I get home. Right now it's meant for Decks C and D, changing between sample deck and track deck when you swap control mode. NHL= Native Hardware Library |
Leeanna Ayla 20.05.2011 | I thought I knew what NHL stood for, but I can't believe of it now. It's NI's proprietary HID protocol. |
Edris Acevedo 20.05.2011 | Thanks for the replies. that would be great Padi if you could. When do you believe you will be able to do this? Can I still use your mapping for the required functions for the time being? Also, what does NHL stand for? |
Nedra Fresneda 20.05.2011 | You can do all that with NHL in mine, gonna post a tweaked version for A/C B/D for timecode users. All I need to do is delete a command. |
Leeanna Ayla 20.05.2011 | You'll need a separate midi mapping since you can't combine midi in an NHL mapping. |
Edris Acevedo 20.05.2011 | Hey Padi, I am just setting up my X1 for the first time and I'm looking for a mapping which uses the native functions on the X1 for playback, FX etc but also incorporates the control of 2 sample decks via midi mode perhaps?? I will be using it alongside a Timecode CDJ setup with a DJM 600. Is your mapping the one I need? thanks |
Nedra Fresneda 07.05.2011 | Woha, 155 downloads in 3 days. Guess people were eager to get it |

Chuck Peretto 04.05.2011 | Will this work well with Duo 2 or not so much? I'm clueless when it come to midi mapping unfortunately. |

Kristofer Krauel 26.04.2011 | will take a good look at this when its ready!! |
Nedra Fresneda 25.04.2011 | First build is done, I need to make the explanatory PDF and I'll upload it. |
