sample deck question: loads sample muted
sample deck question: loads sample muted Posted on: 13.07.2011 by Corey Tronchin Hi folks! I've created my own mapping for an X1 especially for sample decks and since version 2.0.3 i have a strange issue.Whenever I load a sample from deck or from list it loads up the sample muted. I'm using the command "load from deck" (normal) and "load from list" (shift) for this and i don't use any other command for that button. Even when I unmute it by mouse, the next load command sets it to a muted sample deck again. Does anyone know what's the reason for this? I haven't had this in previous versions. Also after reloading and unmuting by mouse a few times it seems to stick and it loads as normal. I suppose the right smiley for this would be: | |

Corey Tronchin 15.07.2011 | Pure randomness which you have to unrandomize by double mapping the button. Not really much trouble, but quite odd indeed. |
Lilliana Perris 15.07.2011 | Yeah, I find if you drag and drop a sample...the mute is not engaged. Odd! |
Corey Tronchin 14.07.2011 | yup, you can double map your load button with the mute/unmute command. set it to direct and value 0 and you should be fine. God, I hate the standard mute-behaviour of the sample decks though, since it seems total random. just now i started traktor and it loaded my samples without the mute status. grrrr... anyway, with mapping this button it should be all good no matter what. |
Lilliana Perris 14.07.2011 | Yep, standard behavior. Saw this myself the other evening . Please post on how to sort it. I guess I can just add a command to unmute. |
Corey Tronchin 14.07.2011 | You mean this is standard behaviour? what a ridiculous idea by NI. Anyway, if it's in the bible I'll have a look for it myself, since I have it here too. Thanks! |
Dana Ordinario 13.07.2011 | There is a way to do it to have it unmuted I'm not sure the exact command as I don't have my bible handy but I'll post it when I get home. |
