2nd Controller
2nd Controller Posted on: 19.07.2011 by Bee Dolinsky So I just bought a korg nanokontrol and I am planning on mapping it for 4 effects in traktor. I already use an akai mpk mini. So can anyone explain how to add a second midi device? Do all of the midi notes (or cc's) have to be different than those on the mpk mini? I don't believe they do I'm just not sure how to do this. thanks. | |

Lavenia Neild 19.07.2011 | Nah that's not dumb I had the same question when I first started playing with my controllers. Instead of using the Import button at the bottom, click on Add, then Import towards the top. Then it will add an additional mapping to your current setup. I use this to switch between Sample Deck controlling and my Beatmashing mapping that I made, depending on what I'm doing in my set. |
Bee Dolinsky 19.07.2011 | yeah this was a dumb post by me...i kinda freaked and posted because traktor lost its shit on me when i imported a .tsi |
Chasidy Heckenbach 19.07.2011 | so long as you dont select "All Devices" for any device then you can reuse the same CC's etc for different controller mappings at the same time. just select the correct device for each tsi/mapping you have loaded. |
