Mac with TP2 and VCI 100 - won't back spin!!!!

wtf?!!! i'm going to dropkick someone's baby if i don't figure this out!!

can someone please tell me what i'm doing wrong. i have a vci100 that won't backspin with TP2. i'm using a Mac and everything hooks up fine. when attempting to backspin (rewind the record w/the platters) it causes my deck to pause and then it becomes somewhat unresponsive.

if i press really hard on the platter somehow, someway, i get unstick it. however as of now, it won't play (although the play button is lit up) and it barely moves the track. i can see the controller is working cuz the nudge arrows light up when i use the platter on the sides...track doesn't move, just the buttons lighting up.

so, once i do this...it causes both decks to become unresponsive. it's as if somethings holding each deck or wtf ever...

btw...the lights blink on my vci when this happens...?!!!!!

i need your help TechTools Gods...please assist.

thank you!!!!

should just need to enable "scratch on" when you touch the platter and then "scratch" when you move the platter afaik. you'd have to look in the controller manager and see whats set up when the jog sends out a message when you touch it and then when you move/spin it back. you didn't say what tsi you had loaded and i believe you need a different tsi depending on what firmware you have. i.e: the original 1.2 or the djtt 1.4.

you'd probably get more useful info if you posted in the vci100 sub community here tho.
