MAP controller "A" to change midi fighter selection Posted on: 06.07.2012 by Maryellen Cancelli Saw a video for midifighter 3D controlling remix and thought about this. Wondering could I map my VMS4 (or any other for that matter) to have say 4 buttons on the VMS4 that would controll which deck or level of remix the midi fighter classic controlls to expand the options of the classic. basically adding the extra buttons that the 3D offers via a extra controller. Hope this makes sence to someone cause im not really sure of how to word it or what options I would go with. Just wondering if it might be possiable. Sorry if this has been covered but had no ideal what to type to search for it. | |

When adding shift modifier, you set it in same tsi with MF commands but learn it with button at VMS4. In this case you need to set MIDI In/Out to "all ports" and you are good to go. Hope this helped. |

Maryellen Cancelli 09.07.2012 | Not what Im looking for.. Looking to use buttons on a second controller(in my case the VMS4) to help controll the midi fighter classic. For example I have cue buttons on MF. So i dont need 4 cue buttons on my vms4. could I use those 4 bottons,,, say one of them as a shift button to allow a second comand on the MF buttons. Or use them to say to pick what deck the MF is controlling. I dont have a specific use yet just wondering if its possiable so that if it is Ill come up with some thing I could do. |
Kellie Myrum 06.07.2012 | MF 3D communicate with Traktor through HID ether than MIDI only. |
