Reply to MAP controller "A" to change midi fighter selection

Saw a video for midifighter 3D controlling remix and thought about this. Wondering could I map my VMS4 (or any other for that matter) to have say 4 buttons on the VMS4 that would controll which deck or level of remix the midi fighter classic controlls to expand the options of the classic. basically adding the extra buttons that the 3D offers via a extra controller. Hope this makes sence to someone cause im not really sure of how to word it or what options I would go with. Just wondering if it might be possiable. Sorry if this has been covered but had no ideal what to type to search for it.
