S2 jog wheels + Remix parameters?
S2 jog wheels + Remix parameters? Posted on: 04.09.2012 by Inger Glubka I just had this idea of controlling certain remix slot parameters with the S2's jog wheels. Sort of a jog Fx idea, but remixed haha. Here is what I'm believeing...Push a button to put u into remix jog mode Hold down some sort of shift plus slot button to "select slot" Manipulate jog wheel and have finger hours!!! Does anyone believe this would work? If so, what parameters would u map to what? | |
Kellie Myrum 05.09.2012 | I've check my edit of DJTT mapping to control four decks and here is what I got for deck A: Snapshot 18.jpg It might be a good start if someone is interested to replicate to some other controller. |

Kellie Myrum 06.09.2012 | Alright, tell me how it goes and may the force be with you! |
Inger Glubka 05.09.2012 | That's a ton of help. I'm sitting down right now to start coding this thing out. Wish me luck! If I get stuck expect a message from me! |

Kellie Myrum 05.09.2012 | It would be for sure, if you got some mapping experience to star this project I could give you advice or two... As for scratching the remix deck I've seen DJ Shiftie does that in F1 presentation video. |
Inger Glubka 05.09.2012 | I see what your saying. sounds like a solid concept. Do you believe it would be cool? Another question, has anyone tried using the actual jog scratch functions applied to a remix deck? Is that possible? |
Kellie Myrum 05.09.2012 | It's nice idea, I thought of it myself but never actually give it time to map it cause my jogs aren't touch sensitive. In S2 scenario I would keep DJTT custom S2 mapping modifier setup for jog FX to actually enable/disable this Jam On technique and then map four bank mode to sample buttons (shift+) so sample slot which should be affected by jog FX can be selected from there. |
