$220 shipped for 25 drop in LED kits. So it would come out to $9 a kit plus a couple dollars shipping to you.

I have used the same kits before and they are absolutely the best. No soldering required, you just replace the entire circuit board with LEDs already installed and plug it into the main board, there is an option for a no solder pitch LED replacement (comes with a regular LED too if you want to solder it in), and has the dual firing SMD pop up light which is also a direct replacement and no soldering needed.

I used these on all the techs I bought and sold and they are great. I could use 10-15 to stock up on myself and was wondering if anyone else ever repaired technics or had a bunch of 1200s they wanted to upgrade and could use a few pairs.

http://www.technologytransplant.com/...pKitGuide.html

http://www.technologytransplant.com/...roducts_id=186 they are $25 a piece on his main site. Even if you bought 25 of them off his site at $12.49 a piece there it would come to $332 for 25 so the ebay deal is pretty good.

I realistically just want maybe half of them so if a couple other people wanted 4+ kits each and wanted to go in with me maybe we could work something out.

They look great on my MK5s and were super easy to install

Ideally I would just split it with someone since I would rather not send out a bunch of little packages but if there were a couple people who wanted 4+ it could work. You could do your friend's or something...

Nice! I was checking them our in more detail and they look way easier to install than raw LED's.

Thanks for getting them ordered!

Alright I received payment from four people.

I went ahead and placed the order, no idea how long it will take.

If anyone else wants a pair of kits they better let me know and send payment since I'm only making one trip to the post office and will not sell extra kits individually once I receive them.

Ack, no worries.

Hope you sort out the two more you need.

Thanks for the info. I just realized my plan may not work. What I wanted to do was have a red strobe (stock), a yellow pop out, and a green pitch. The problem is my pitch light doesn't light because I've swapped in m3d faders to remove the click (also because my original 20 yr old faders were beyond repair). Do you know of a way to permanently light the pitch fader?

Yeah a kit is one deck. They sell these kits in blue, white, and purple for the drop in no hassle version. I have a few sealed purple kits laying around if you wanted them.

You can get kits that are just the LEDs in more colors, I'm not sure the part numbers if you want to order individually. Also keep in mind that the pop up led needs an additional circuit to change the voltage. Also a regular LED pop up light isn't as good as the dual firing directional SMD lights mounted on boards in these kits and is not near as bright.

How easy is it to find the actual led's? I'd like to do both of my mk2's but want colors other than blue. I don't mind buying the LEDs separately and soldering in myself but want to know they're available and what I'm looking for (part #'s?).

Also, a kit is one deck, correct?

Ok let's see, do we have 10 kits spoken for?

I actually just bought 2 more 1200s so I have 5 I need to do right now...

I guess the way I'll do it is PM people who were interested asking how many want and I'll need to get people's addresses and will send my paypal info. I will need people to send it as a paypal gift to avoid fees and paypal's weird escrow policy where they sometimes hold funds.

Is it one kit per deck? If so I'm in for two
Romelia Stankard
23.12.2011
Yeah I guess it shouldn't be a problem doing one or two. A small flat rate priority box or envelope is $5 so one kit would be $14, two kits would be $23.

15 bucks shipped sound okay to make it worth your time? they should fit in the small flat rate shipping boxes?

I was trying to see if there were a couple people who wanted maybe 4 or more kits each since I wanted to avoid sending out a bunch tiny packages but I guess if we did it as a larger group buy I could just mail a bunch of envelopes of them all out at once and it wouldn't be any hassle.

I actually also have 4 of the same purple LED kits sitting around from the last time I ordered these that I never used if anyone wants them too instead of blue kits.
