Richie Hawtin (official page) gets first touch on the upcoming Native Instruments iPad app.

Janyce Henningson 24.01.2013 | Hard to say what it's gonna be really. NI must have seen how popular tablets have become so they have to release a DJ app eventually, so it's possible. I don't see the point of an app for prepping tracks personally - copying tracks, settings etc. is a pain - I prep on my pc, dj on my macbook and it does my head in sometimes. Plus you would need lots of space on the tablet for track collection etc. It could be some control software, that would be easy for them to do, but as others have said - just having the browser on there would be cool. |
