Engadget is speculating approx. $200.00
If this is true...watch out!

We've heard rumors from inside the company that it'll be available for around $200, which would be extremely competitive for a pro-level box that's specifically matched to Traktor's capabilities.

I asked NI those questions a couple of times -->

[Response from Tobias G @ NI]
At the moment we are focussing on making the MIDI clock syncronisation between Maschine and Traktor as seamless as possible. Obviously we have some ideas about even deeper integration, but for now this is still "future music" as they say in German

We definitely want to expand the interaction between Traktor and Maschine, including the sampling aspect. I can't be more specific at this point, but improvements are in our plan.

This frees you to get creative on jumping between the cue points, loops, and effects.
And whats is even better is that once you have beat-gridded and have it sync locked....the cue jumping is seamless!

This is SOOO killer remixing tracks etc. You can play any part of the track you want...in whatever order.

As long as you have set your cues correctly......you bang away with ease!

The mashine was on a separate laptop controlling ableton. The new NI controller looks fun. Reminds me a lot of those Allen and Heath controllers without the wheel. Sorry if this has been said I'm not looking thru 4 pages of posts.

I believe there is a still a mentality that says the height of a cdj or a controller shall be that of a turntable. Meh, make it thin and let people put them on stands I say!

id like to know why they are so deep...
Yeah, they're on boxes. They look maybe even a little thinner than the SCS.3ds.

I'm posting like a mad man but i'm really excited about this controller. I have a feeling it will be discussed at BPM this weekend, you don't throw a tease like this out and not discuss it at the only upcoming music event for a while.

"id like to know why they are so deep :\ thats taking up alot of un-necessary storage room, id like to see them with the same low profile as the VCI-100."

Someone over in the NI community s just mentioned the cases underneathe the controller, I didn't realize it but the controller itself is actually quite thin. Look carefully.

I believe Karlos Santos knows too much and it's probably causing him a lot of stress keeping all these secrets. Just divulge all your NI secrets. I was over on the NI community s and saw you dropping more hints about Maschine and Traktor Integration. You're killling me Karlos, I'll give you my visa for your knowledge of what's going on.

I believe that depends on what its actually designed to do. It may have all the functionality it needs for what its actually intended to do.

I was hoping that all the talk of A&H's new controller being for Itch was rubbish but I believe this news has just made that a whole lot more likely especially as Hawtin has ditched his 1Ds in favour of the NI controllers.

Boooooo!!!!

Ohh yeah. NI just confirmed on FB a new upcomming NI controller! What a weird way to reveal it. Looks like a mistake to me...
