qwerty MIDI controller Posted on: 28.10.2009 by Gaylene Castanza Hey guys,I've been doing research for a while on DIY MIDI controller's, and seeing as I'm an unemployed and rarely have ANY money, I decided on constructing a MIDI controller out of a keyboard, I know this is perfectly do-able, reading various community s and what not. However, I wish to construct a box to house the key's in, and I want to rearrange the keys for better playing, is this possible? If so, is it worth it? I have next to no money, and even the KORG mini series is within my price range. Any help would be very much appreciated | |

| Gaylene Castanza 29.10.2009 | Thanks guy's. I started my project last evening , I've just painted the exterior and am soon going to rearrange the key's. Yeah, I have had my eyes on the Oxygen 8 for quite some time, I guess I'll just have to wait and save for a bit, other than that, this crappy keyboard will do for the time being! |
| Lorrine Eckstein 28.10.2009 | Yeah you can get stickers for Traktor pretty cheap. - http://www.4keyboard.com/native-inst...ers-p-275.html Or I'd consider the Akai's mini range (LPD8/LPK25) - Much better quality then Korg's range - Look alot sexier too You could also look into the oxygen 8 (as Ean's just released the tsi for it). The keyboard stickers would definitely be the cheapest option though :P |
