well going by that picture .. you want the thing to be a bit heavy .. or it will fall over too easily.

I know that this case is a bit more flimsy - but look at how much lighter it is than the other hard core flight case. That's a big difference in weight when you are lugging it around to gigs, clubs, etc.. That's why I like this case better. I also like that it does have some storage for headphones on the side, etc..

I dont travel as its just a hobby for me but when i take it ropund my mates i find i can fit everythinng in a laptop bag. The laptop and vci fit in the laptop compartment with a divider between and the audio 8 headphones cables etc fit in other pockets you find in a laptop bag.

Thats sweet Mr MOO. I need something similar that has a laptop stand so I can carry everything in the case & leave the laptop stand at home. Why? Cuz I usually setup the case on a keyboard stand.

You could also try this case. It's the VCI-MA made by Marathon. Its designed for the VCI-300. But it works great with the VCI-100 as well. I like the extra space right behind the controller because I can place my sound card there. I prefer that rather than placing the card of to the side where it can get dropped by a drunken idiot.

Got a good one, $169, could stand to be a little bigger but everything is in nice.
Ready to roll now!

Using the old yellow case i used for my vci for my laptop now.

scrap my last post, i tried something different toevening .

Instead of putting my macbook pro into its case i tested the vci and it fits brilliantly, meant i could get everytinhg into my record bag and it was all protected.

this is the case im now using for my vci....

i got my vci off ebay & it came in an aluminum case used for cds (with the dividers taken out), the VCI fits tight although there is a bit more headroom if that makes sense but its a good option and only around
