Video Game flight stick mods?
Video Game flight stick mods? Posted on: 12.02.2010 by Danae Dumler So after watching immuzikation's video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E447XeggqX8) I am interested in learning more about these video game flightsticks ... I don't play video games much so I really had no idea there were so many different flightstick options, many with arcade buttons. My question is, how easy of a mod is this? Do all these flightsticks connect via USB, and is it a simple process to translate whatever it is doing to MIDI? | |

Anette Botek 21.02.2010 | I've been rocking my Hori nonstop for a while now... perfect with the midifighter... now if only my kids would let me borrow the guitar hero guitar for more than 5 min.'s at a time... |
Danae Dumler 21.02.2010 | What did you have to do in Traktor to get it to notice the flightstick? I posted a question about this on another page and was told I was missing the equivalent of Ableton's "Remote On" command in Traktor, which would allow Traktor to see the data being channeled from the HID to MIDI software (I'm using Multicontrol on Mac OS X). (Here's the thread http://www.djranking s.com/community /showthread.php?t=11503). Thanks! |
Danae Dumler 17.02.2010 | Thanks - I just ordered a PS3 flight stick from amazon.com so we'll see how it goes I don't really need the extra arcade buttons since I already have a midifighter but I like the idea of being able to modify effects with a joystick |
