Enrique Silversmith 11.11.2010 | ok ill break it downnnnnnnnnn "barrow" or pay for the program xpadder open xpadder and map all the buttons, its stupid easy u just pic a controller skin that looks like urs then u map buttons then u go into traktor and go into generic keyboard mapping. then u map out the keys. so like u want "play" u add that and then press "learn" the physically press the button u want traktor to assaign it too thats it done. i can do this before u mod anything just to try it out. thats what i did. and it works flawlessly so overall u arnt messing with midi at all |
Dillon Paganini 11.11.2010 | i was just wondering if I had to do any programming for the gaming pad to send midi notes? |

/showthread.php?t=19411 i talk about it more in my other thread. when i get all the parts im going to make a detailed walkthrough of this whole experience from all the parts (detailed) to the assembly and art (detailed) and most importantly all the computer settings for traktor to get everything to work!!! so anyone can clone my project but obviously make there own design and art right now 16 buttons 2 faders and 2 knobs will cost around $120 if you have a good soldering station the user oskars that was helping me on the thread i just posted did moderately the same thing u should check up and read his build too |
Dillon Paganini 12.11.2010 | smooth I want to build my own and I was just wondering what you used and if you just had to map (no firmware programing or anything?) it after you solder everything together? |
Enrique Silversmith 10.11.2010 | lol na i wont me posting till i build my midi controller. these 99cent chinese controllers are so bad i bet i couldnt even play video games with them! |

Joan Kollmorgen 09.11.2010 | You need to Right click on each button in Xpadder and select Assignment then choose what key you want it to press.
