Reply to gamepad mapping xpadder traktor help.... probably stupid

ok so i have a usb game pad. it looks exactly like a ps2 controller.

this is probably really dumb and i cant figure it out but.....

i go into xpadder and map out all the buttons to the usb gamepad. i saved all the presets i made for it etc.

and i have xpadder running in the background

i open up traktor go into midi mapping, click add, then i hit midi learn and press the button on the usb gamepad but nothing happens.....

i must be missing a step or something i searched these community s the interweb youtube and no bueno
