How to keep Vci-100 navigation buttons LED lit?
Posted on: 01.01.2011 by Lanny Vanosten
I currently use firmware 1.4 on my vci-100 and the latest tsi 3.6.4

When scrolling up or down the browser (using the navigation buttons) AND when loading either deck A or B, the nav buttons (including the shift button) will only momentarily light when any of those buttons are pressed.

Anyone know how to change the midi mapping for those five buttons to always be lit (perhaps when traktor first starts). I just prefer to have those buttons lit so I can see them in the dark.

Thankyou

Thanks, but waaaaaay too much time to spend on I'm afraid. I've spent days trying to figure this out and always re-loading back to the latest mapping after too many things don't work. Would be nice to get a mapping from one of the tech guys here a DJTT since this is not djing....it's technical programming.
I guess I'll install a light over the keys so I can see them..

Thanks theory28 But I just cannot figure it out.

there is a drop down box that says "n/a" next to the learn button.

you can take it from there. but you need to take note of the channel number too.

good luck

Ok?

Let's say I found 'list select up/down'. (down) in this case- [note A6]
I click the 'add out' button
Now a pop-up window comes up displaying a whole bunch of options?
How do I 'set it to that note',...I'm lost at this step ? I don't see the LED option anywhere?

find the midi note for those buttons (or find the load buttons and whatnot on you list of controls)

then add an out
set it to that note

under led options, try setting both numbers for controller to 0

or just screw around with those settings until you get the desired effect

afterwards, delete the old outs from the mapping

NOTE: you have to restart traktor for the changes to take effect sometimes
