Numark Mixtrack & Midi-Fighter?
Numark Mixtrack & Midi-Fighter? Posted on: 24.01.2011 by Wilbur Siress I'm new to this community
as well as the world of mixing. I started playing around with traktor about a month ago. I just recently bought a mixtrack its not the nicest controller but it seems to be a good starter controller. I'm getting to the point where I want to add something more to my mixes tho. I was believeing a midi-fighter might be just the thing. So here is the question. Is it possible to use the mixtrack with a midi-fighter and is this a practical combo? | |

I believe it would be a good idea for a company like numark to make something like the mixtrack to work with 4 decks so u dont have to spend a whole lot of money to try 4 deck mixing. They would prolly sell like crazy. |

Wilbur Siress 24.01.2011 | I was believeing map the mixtrack so it can control 4 decks then use a midi-fighter for effects and learn some beat juggling. |
Vernie Beharry 24.01.2011 | Absolutely can be done. mapping should be a cinch. But definitely focus on what you got now. It may hinder your set-up a little more. |
Germaine Wardrip 24.01.2011 | i have a mixtrack as well. don't underestimate the capabilities of this controller. while the latency of the jogs and crossfader aren't the best on the market. with the right mapping you can do all sorts of creative mixing techniques. that being said I also am looking to purchase a midifighter for added effects in my mixes, but I would say focus on what you have now. I don't see why these two wouldn't be a viable combo |
