Reply to Numark Mixtrack & Midi-Fighter?

I'm new to this community as well as the world of mixing. I started playing around with traktor about a month ago. I just recently bought a mixtrack its not the nicest controller but it seems to be a good starter controller. I'm getting to the point where I want to add something more to my mixes tho. I was believeing a midi-fighter might be just the thing. So here is the question.

Is it possible to use the mixtrack with a midi-fighter and is this a practical combo?
