Is this cool or what?

Ok so I'm pretty sure I have spread the word enough that I am only 13 and I am probably obsessed with being a DJ. So now I have one last question. I am a very social person so everybody in the small town I live in knows me. And they all know that I DJ. So sometimes people will ask me to do a quick performance in the street or do some small stuff at a party. I say why not? But it is becoming kind of hard to do that without really anything to blast audio. So I have been believeing for the past week or so,talked to my father (He used to be in a rock band, but unfortunately they kicked him out for getting too old.)

So here is the ultimate mobile setup:

FYDELITY Backpack (With Amp & Speakers)
http://www.shopscratchtracks.com/product-p/94402.htm

Two MidiFighter Classics (or Pros)

An M-Audio X Session Pro/ Numark Stealth Control
(They are basically the same except the Stealth Control has more buttons and Jog Wheels)

The best part about this setup is that it is cheap, performs well, and will all fit into that backpack!

but yes, I don't really understand it either since you can't control the music properly.

I would say 200 is not bad, will it sound better than something like the ion block rocker? (there is almost the same thing from alesis)

I would say due to the stereo configuration the sound will spread more but not sure if louder.... if anyone knows...

I'm believeing of getting something like this myself for camping, outdoor small parties, festivals and the likes...totally worth it when no music is present
It's well worth the money trust me. When plugged in it pounds and can easily fill a large room with 20+ people with music. All the reviews say it's got the best sound at the price point and portability.

It can also run on 8 D batteries. That sounds like a lot but it will easily last over 8 hours at full volume (i turn my ipod to bass reducer to save battery). It's just a bit quieter when on batteries but its portable and can still get a lot of attention.

When I'm at the beach I always get song requests because everyone around us is listen to the go+play vs their own system. It would be perfect for you and the OP.

for being portable id still recommend the Go+play. It's output is 120w and weighs under 10lbs. I believe it would tear that 22w mono PA system IMO. watts don't mean everything but this is very good. you just dont get a mic and guitar input but something worth looking at.

as for the batteries, I get mine for free but i looked into them and you can get the rechargeable D's for about the same price as a replacement battery for the Bose portable sounddock.

hmm everything sounds nice except for the having to buy batteries...
these small alesis and ion PA's have a rechargeable battery that easy lasts about 8-10 hours depending on the volume also hell of loud and punchy bass but no stereo

anyway, for a portable PA this is not bad! the wheels and handle not bad idea either :P

I also saw this numark mobile dj but the mixing console practically null (just a crossfader what the?) but it claims 12 hours of batt life, for me this is something key

The controller interfaces and soundcards are very specific to your needs and style. This is why I did not address this as you seem to be confident in your choice.

The best part about this setup is that it is cheap, performs well, and will all fit into that backpack!
The variables that prompted my response: Your post indicated the trouble with good sound. Therefore...

1) The need for a durable, inexpensive all-in-one sound solution that can be re-purposed to the back yard pool parties or the lake
2) 13 years old
3) Small town
4) Cost of Pro Sound Gear possibly prohibitive due to funds, location, age and/or proximity to a retailer
(although your dad may have amps and sound gear available)

Also:

1) do a quick performance in the street or do some small stuff at a party.
2) hard to do that without really anything to blast audio
3) Backpack (With Amp & Speakers
4) The best part about this setup is that it is cheap, performs well,

I did not see that you already had sound in place in your first post, and the reason I thought my response might be helpful.

It'll be less durable but hey, easier to transport and you're unlike to be throwing bit of rubble around.

Make sure you get a licence if you're busking seriously. Also if you're performing in the UK or some other countries you may need a licence to perform with copy writed music (this normally is covered by the venue but since you don't have one you'll need it yourself) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_DJ_license I believe that's the right one, I forget.
thanx for the tip... ill look into that i bit more.

and the question was focused more on the controllers. not on the back pack for whoever said they didnt know the question

Your wanting cool, and thats about as cool as it gets, imo.

Chill out, take peoples advice as just that, advice! If you don't like it don't get pissy. They are trying to help you out from there many years of combined experience, but if you act childish i see fewer people willing to take the time to help you. Maturity goes a long way here, and in life in general.

OP, you're being a dick. Sorry to have to be the one to tell you this. If you don't agree with the advice you're being given, fine. But don't get shitty with us about it. If you want multiple people to hear your music, face it, you need speakers of some kind.

I want one instant gratification and one for cue points

and yes I have headphones... my skullcandy GIs perform extremely well

I am changing my mind about the backpack however,

but i dont want speakers

I want something extremely portable something for small street shows and what not

Whatever you do, DON'T BUY SPEAKERS THAT AREN'T PA SPEAKERS IF YOU'RE DOING LIVE GIGS. it's dumb. And really unprofessional. Keep working on the bedroom mixes, and then upgrade you sound system. Berhinger makes some really decent powered speaks that can crank under the EuroLive series. I hate berhinger as much as the next guy, but these speaks (if they last) will definitely impress your buddies and will output enough to rock your basement

Me and my buddies live and die by this thing. The sound is absalutley amazing for the size and the constuction is very durable. When we don't want to muck with a pa system and wires, this is key. It has seen maaaany rediculous parties where we can pound out beats till the morning! The constuction is absalutley solid
