akai mpk mini problems

I've looked over the search and can't find anything that relates to my problem so here goes: I recently got an akai mpk mini and use it with ableton. I've found that the middle E key doesn't work. | Nery Schrunk 17.06.2011 | Hey, Thanks for the replies guys. I've tried it with FL Studio, and the velocity meter in the top left doesn't register anything. I hope that I'll be able to exchange for another one, seeing as this is an international eBay transaction. |

| Lewis Stumpf 17.06.2011 | It sounds like a hardware problem more than anything else, but give it a go inside another piece of software (Traktor?) If the key works elsewhere, then it's probably something between the MPK and Ableton, but if it's universally broken, then there's a good chance it's a hardware problem. Try having it RMAed, or if you're really frisky with hardware and electronics, opening it up and fixing it yourself |
