If you get a Mixtrack with VDJ LE for example, you can not use it with another controller. Think of VDJ LE like ITCH, it totally does everything labeled on the controller. It works just as intended, plug and play Secondly, lol @ VDJ is rubbish! Seriously?!? It can do just so much more than every other program on the market, won several Awards for best DJ software last year and supports just about everything on the market. If you have VDJ PRO FULL. If you have VDJ LE, which you basically get for free, you can only do what the controller is supposed to. Simple as that. If you have VDJ PRO, you can do just whatever you want Maybe you should have given your LE |

| Faustino Stringfellow 14.08.2011 | Shame the VDJ fanboy can't read. I said the LE vesion is rubbish and will want to upgrade in a week. Traktor LE is practically the same, extrememly reduced workflow, minimal effects, a full version of any software is needed. There's Deckadance, Mixmeister, Miss Pinky, i don't even remember half of the ones i've tried, they can be used without restrictions and can help perfect button mashing. However if the user really wants to learn to mix / beatmatch, there's still is no better way than two pieces of the same vinyl, two turntables and a 2 channel mixer and several hours of practice, the digital solution can't teach this, it can however teach button pushing. If you want a "cheap" solution, then it's two turntables and a mixer time, going digital required a lot of money to get things right for me, if compromise your buying, you will most likely compromise your sets. and to the guy who wants the LE disk, I found the sleeves, and they are both from the seriously badly thoughtout VMS4 (don't ask me about it, it was a huge mistake). I never had the Denon LE version as I live in Europe and we wern't allowed to have that. So, unfortunatly its not going to help you. now to the drunk DJ .... drunk at a gig, very professional. Drunk whilst posting ... how responsible ..... now go to bed and sleep it off. |

Some prefer Traktor over VDJ and some are die hard VDJ users. It's what you like using. So there is no wrong answer here. |

Seriously if this is a deal breaker for you, believe again, the kit is what you are buying, they are throwing in an old and useless bit of software as a sweetener ... I believe i have a couple of unopened copies of VDJ LE, and even a copy of their FREE VDJ software ... all pointless. Hook it up to traktor (the software it was designed to use) and then you will see how good they are. |

I realize it says on the Denon website but it says nothing on the Authorized dealer about it being shipped with the unit. How would I receive the copy of VDJ LE? Does it all go through Denon?
