Replacing Roland DJ-2000 crossfader
Posted on: 27.11.2011 by Teisha Ajibola
So, I've got an opportunity to get a Roland DJ-2000 mixer on the cheap, but one of the problems with it is that the crossfader is shot.
It's replaceable, but Roland has of course long stopped making replacement crossfaders.

Does anyone know if other crossfaders on the market would be compatible with this mixer, or if not directly compatible, how hard it would be to mod something to be compatible? I can't find much info at all about the fader except that it's 45 mm.

Any ideas?
Thanks!
