If you are interested in becoming a club dj though you won't find the 3900's there, won't be able to bring them really, too large... and clubs do have CDj's..

In my opinion get the CDJs if you are looking to get into club gigs. If looking to just do house parties or events where you bring your own gear or are just dj'ing for your own enjoyment... get the 3900's ..
Most clubs will have 1200's (very close feel) to use though, so I personally wouldnt factor that in. Unless you dont plan on using them with DVS software, in that case you should consider it in your decision

I also put up my mapping.... which controls all 4 decks.... works pretty slick. Love scratching now with a remix deck... flipping looped scratch samples is cool.

Hey, thanks for help, I am not scratch dj, I do have turntables at home. I am not planing to use any software. Mostly I want to buy this for learning and maybe find some gigs in clubs, so it might happen I would need to take them with me. So i guess cdj900 then?

Get cdjs unless you are just buying the gear for a mess around at home and house parties.

If the screen is the same as the 3700 i really can't see people ditching there laptops. i cant imagine how you are ever going to get the really good wave forms on there. Its all speculation & guessing untill details are released but its always interesting to hear what everyone thiks will be included.
The big question for me would be native support for Traktor out of the box. Thats always going to be a difficult one as im not sure any units exist with native support for both Traktor scratch Pro and Serato Scratch. I would only use it as a stand alone unit if it came with new software to oganise music as as MM never worked on a Mac & i am not prepared to by a computer to run one piece of software. I also believe if they are releasing new software with the unit it is critical that it also works for the 3700 as i and other mac users would feal let down & may not be willing to take the plunge twice.

A lot of people really missed the Alpha track 2 decks in 1 feature from the 5500s too.

I am not sure about effects on actual decks anymore. They are a nice add but don't really compare with effects in software but that as with everything else i have typed is just my opinion.

I have loved most things about my 3700s from the minute i opened the box to this day. I am very interested to see what added features or improvements the 3900 will bring. The sooner we know the sooner we know if we should start saving some money.

Physically, buttons dont look a ton different except for the cuepoints.. Im guessing that its going to allow for some kind of spinning platter midi control which would be cool.. But im not sure theres enough there to make me upgrade as i love the 3700 already..

I've heard Denon's Music Manager is pretty awful (without actually have used it myself), but maybe there will be an update for that as well to silence the critics?

I loved the DNS3700's. I thought they were far better than CDJ's. Whenever I use a CDJ, even the 2000's, they just feel cheap and plasticy, to be honest, the Jogs are crap, and the pitch fader always felt like it was going to come off in my hands.

If Denon hadn't dropped the ball and were still dicking around with Rackmount units when the Pioneer CDJ500 came out we might see them instead as the club standard instead.

Just "Imagine"

I didn't realise Denon still made decks. I've not seen any in the DJ booths for well over 10 years.

Im pretty curious about this.. I love my dns3700 and cant imagine what they will do to improve it.. its pretty solid already. Unless they somehow pull off spinning platter for traktor control which would be nice but its have to have some high resolution for me to consider upgrading.. Pioneers HID control of traktor is alright but nothing to write home about.
Spinning platter control is possible on the 3700s with traktor if you use hybrid midi mode however you need either a NI sound card or certified mixer
