USB 3.0 windows, NI audio soundcards. BsoD Posted on: 09.11.2012 by Debora Wassink Hey ranking
s community, I need your help. This is a question related too problems with native instruments soundcards and USB connectivity. I didnt know where too post this, but gear discussion seemed the most fitting place, admins feel free to move this to a more fitting place if u so desire.Problem: I recently purchased a new PC (64 bit, win 7, Intel Core i7-3610qm, 2,3 GHz, 8gb ram, i can give more speccs if desired). Anyway, today I installed traktor, set up everything, wanting to get my decalized midi fighter going with my external mixer through my Native Instruments Audio 2 soundcard. Now, its a new computer; which means USB 3.0 connectivity. What happens is everytime i connect my audio 2 the computer BsoD`s.. I`ve read a little about this and it seems that native instruments soundcards doesnt support 3.0 usb connectivity on win 7 computers. According to native instruments service centre, my drivers are up to date. Now this keeps me from doing my thing with my controller and traktor, and it pisses me off beyond belief .. I was woundering if anyone have found a solution to get around the problem.. And please dont turn this into mac versus pc thread, those things are cancer. Tl;dr: Audio 2, bluescreen of deah when plugging in to new (64 bit, win 7) computer with usb 3.0. Getting around the problem? Enlighten me - Blue | |
