We could all donate 5$ or 10$ to DJTT to help get the funding it needs?

Id be down anyone else?

shares would be better.. being able to own a percentage of the site.. and itd give your donation an actual worth... meaning you're not just giving your money away, you are getting something back for it... something like 5 dollars a share...

I'd be up for a one-off donation, $20 to a good cause never did any harm.

Shares are something I would also be up for looking into, as I agree that the company is only going to grow.

I seem to remember that the article announcing that the blog was going to be overhauled a while a go said they would be including ads.

shares is a good idea.

i wouldn't be opposed to the idea of advertising to generate a bit more cash for djtt either. no harm if there's audio product ads, or even ads for artist/label releases.
so long as they're tastefully integrated into the website's design without it being a pain in the ass.

Tell you what I'd definitely do, buy a couple of shares in DJTT. It's only gna grow.

My dad had an account when we lived in england but ebay in ireland is shit.. We have a site called adverts.ie which is a lot better, you usually meet up and pay in cash, its the local means here in ireland and believe its pretty functionable.. Have sold quite a lot on it, and doesnt cost anything to post an ad

it should be upto each individual, no one is right or wrong, if you feel like you can spare the cash then thats great if you cant then thats also fair enough too. I left a car community as it started off just like here, free and a great place to come and learn and make friends then they decided to start charging

If they can't support their completely unrelated midi controller venture that sucks but it's nothing to do with me.

I'd be cool with targeted advertising. I don't run adblock on this site.

Honestly I like relevant adverts and it'd be pretty easy to get relevant ads since we know exactly what the people here are interested in.

I don't believe they're out of money just they want to be able to attract a decent CEO/COO with a salary and maybe kick start some other ideas. And there's never been any outside financing for DJTT it's all been run out of Ean's pocket and profit from the store. There's not even outside advertising on the blog.
