This will prevent extra threads being posted for pointless posts. Easier way to solve questions faster.

02.08.2011		So I took the fam downtown yesterday to see the "Street Art" exibit. Banksy was kind enough to provide free admission on mondays (the fact that you could see as good or better art just around any corner/alley in LA for free was not lost on everyone). As we walked in the soon to be ex-wife to the POS Governor of our great state of California walks out with her kids. The rest of the day I couldn't sort out how odd it is that wealthy people are treating graffiti as some kind of fine art now. I could just imagine how scadalous it would have been just 10 years ago to have the governers wife supporting what was considered an eyesore/crimminal activity.

I tried to open it but either the speaker or mouthpiece (whichever is on the right) was stuck to the case, so I aborted. After putting it back together and turning it on, no home button! It's pretty much useless now...

yep.. I love it.. I was planning on eventually getting two.. just for the reason you gave.. BUT now I'm so use to the pages and how it functions that I only need 1.. I've been getting into 3-4 deck mixing and haven't had any issues.
I'm adding a MF classic but thats just more for experimenting and opening new ideas.
Also the sc2000 has 4 banks with 2 pages of every control you see.. so 8 pages. You can set the pitch fader so that it will read once you set it back to the place you left it.. which is great for switching between decks.

Its one solid controller..

I did look at that actually and nearly bought it instead of the X1. Have you got one? I cant get help feeling that switching between decks on one unit would lead to a disaster at some point...

have you looked into Denon's SC2000s..
Very solid, awesome jogs and pitch.
If you want a cdj feel but still want to use traktor these things are the way to go!

I didn't like the S4 when I tried it out.
What do you use as a mixer.. IMO you will DEFINITELY enjoy a proper mixer over an S4.

Our plan is up and my sister wants to get a droid
they're buy-one-get-one-free so she wanted to know if I wanted to split it.

I was originally gonna get an iPhone and sell it.
But I believe I'm gonna get the droid and test it out for a few months and if I don't like it I could always sell it.. probably for more than what I bought it for!
I can believe of a good 5-10 hours a week it would come in handy.

I'm just not too sure how much 2GB is tho..
I believe I'll be good, because I'll mostly use it for gmail and community s.
Maybe stream a mix every now and them.. BUT if I believe I'm gonna want to listen to a mix I'll probably just load it via mp3 before I go out.

I've done some searching, but do you guys believe 2GB is enough.. at least to justify $30?

28.07.2011		I've been using my phone to keep track of my calender and email for a good 8 years now. Absolutely could not live without those two things and would pay double if I had to. All the extra internet stuff is just a bonus.

they're amazing if you're out and about often. they put a lot of power into the palm of your hand, but they're nearly useless if your around a computer more often

take some drums and synths out of some songs, compose a little something, helps me whenever i mix live. plus i end up coming up with some cool build ups and drops to use.
