| Imogene Modradian 13.10.2011 | If you get a 3200 error while trying to update to iOS 5 just go to Edit -> Preferences -> Devices -> Delete Backup then try again. It will make a new backup so don't worry. I tried to update for hours before I found that solution somewhere. |

it seems to get stuck during the "backing up your iphone" stage - it takes so long! perhaps my 32GB iphone 4 is a bit too full, im gonna clear out the apps and photos first before trying again |

| Dana Ordinario 12.10.2011 | Everyone is trying to update at the same time. I just updated 2 iPhone 4's and and 2 iPad 2's it took me two tries for all of them. The first was the longest as it had to download the software and backup the devices. After it failed with validating the restore I simple tried again and it went through in about 5 mins for the phones and 5-10 for the iPads. |
