What to wear at concerts? Posted on: 19.02.2012 by Kati Khait So I'm going to my first concert ever tomorrow evening
, rusko. I somewhat dislike dubstep nowdays but it's with a friend I havn't seen lately so I wanna go more to just do something with him.Anyway, what I've read it's like all white is usually the go to color but other opinions would be awesome. I have white jeans and a white shirt I can wear but should I wear something nicer for the ladies, or does it really not matter? Not sure if a button down shirt that I roll up the sleeves in is too formal for the dubstep scene. I don't believe it's a big show, as tickets are only $20. Any help would be awesome, sorry to believe this through so much. | |

Larraine Hannum 23.02.2012 | Don't you know your not supposed to wear white after labor day? JK, but I try to look as shady as possible. Black jeans, Dark sunglasses, Black hoodie and a black wife beater underneath if it gets too hot, and a pack of smokes. Theres really no dress code, unless your a chick, then your obligated to wear the sluttiest outfit possible. |

And it's really cold right now, like -5 degrees celcius at evening so I'll probably wear a tshirt and a flannel or a longsleeve t with some jeans I don't care about. All I'll carry on me is some money plus I.D and my phone. I'll make sure to hydrate beforehand. |
Fredda Klarman 19.02.2012 | I always wear a yellow chia-pet shirt and khakis. ALWAYS. |
Nedra Fresneda 19.02.2012 | jeans + t |
Joselyn Supina 19.02.2012 | I would never wear all white. I remember the raves I went to in college, they were nasty. Concerts are different, but I still consider a techno concert half of a rave, same smelly messed up kids rubbing vicks on each other and sitting on the floor in the corner. I usually wear jeans or cargos if I plan on carrying a bunch of crap (cellphone, chapstick, water, wallet, etc) - something with closures on the pocket so I can jump around and not worry about my belongings falling on the floor. In the winter I usually wear a button down top, maybe a flannel if its really cold...in the summer usually a tshirt or a light shirt. Wear something comfortable...no one there will be dressed a certain way...you're about to walk into a culture clash and no one will care what you're wearing. |
Yong Aptekar 19.02.2012 | 3 piece suit Gorilla suit Mouse head Nothing Only a tie Pink polo shirt, popped collar Metal studded everything. |
Audrey Pinda 19.02.2012 | Honestly, it's a matter of personal preference. Once you start going to shows, you'll know what style you'll want to wear out. It really is just something you'll have to work on yourself. Some people keep it simple, some people go all out. And it can somewhat identify the type of music you're into in some respects as well. Personally I love being a goon when I go out, so I wear an orange blacklight reactive t-shirt a lot of times, and usually just a pair of jeans. I also have an orange blacklight reactive hat that people know me from wearing all over the place. I've found being obnoxiously bright means that my friends find me, and I never have to look for them. Serves two purposes A lot of my buddies just do the jeans and white t-shirt thing, and it's fine. Really though, women are the ones who tend to really worry about it. :P |
