In general, most guys who ride road bikes (bicycles) have next to no actual bike handling skills, its just V02 max comparisons and trying to beat each other up hills. Its pretty bad, but not as bad a triathletes, thats another level of terrible rider...

You can make up a lot of time on a road bike on a technical descent, its odd that most roadies don't focus more on going down a hill quickly.

Nice. I haven't undertaken anything that ridiculous. I'm not that strong of a rider

Honestly I don't really care as long as I'm riding.
As long as you're riding a motorcycle I happy to include you as someone who rides. Even though they have two wheels and a motor, I'm sorry, but I won't include any kind of scooters or mopeds.

I'm going to do a rider training school this summer and start saving for a bike.
That is the way I started out and I'd recommend it. I'd even go back and take the same course if I had the time and money too again. When I took it it was about $75 to $100 I believe. Now it is over $200+.

I haven't had the money for a motorcycle yet, but it's one of my life ambitions. I'm going to do a rider training school this summer and start saving for a bike. Biggest question is whether I need to start on a 200-300 cc starter bike or if I'll have self control to jump onto what I really want (ideally ~600-750 CC naked bike, preferring Monsters and Thruxtons). I want to get the better one as soon as I can afford it, but I'd also rather not die.

I don't believe I could ever have just a bike, but my life won't be complete without one.

Yes!

I do ride road bikes (Specalized Allez) in the city, and rain is nothing unless it destroys your phone

I've never had a cruiser. It's always been sport or dual sport adventure touring stuff. I've got a Honda ST1100 right now that works for what I do real well. Honestly I don't really care as long as I'm riding.

I don't ride in the rain. I prefer to keep my bike clean, both from dirt and from cosmetic damage. I would say between cars and bikes I definitely put more money and upkeep into my bike then I do the car.

You could bang a chick on a motorbike, it would be interesting. Maybe she sits in the drivers seat and u hop on the back.
And damn that Suzuki is fast!

I've got more lifetime miles on two wheels than four. I ride everyday year round minus ice and snow. I like it when it's cold, when it's hot, when it's raining, when it's dirty and whenever else I'm on the bike.
