Motorbikes vs cars Posted on: 29.02.2012 by Marva Cupid Alright, so me and my friend have an ongoing debate about this, he is a car guy and I am a bike guy. Just want to here ur opinions on the matter. ( but bikes are still better) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iXI7U...e_gdata_player | |
Johnetta Olewine 29.02.2012 | In general, most guys who ride road bikes (bicycles) have next to no actual bike handling skills, its just V02 max comparisons and trying to beat each other up hills. Its pretty bad, but not as bad a triathletes, thats another level of terrible rider... You can make up a lot of time on a road bike on a technical descent, its odd that most roadies don't focus more on going down a hill quickly. |

Honestly I don't really care as long as I'm riding.
I'm going to do a rider training school this summer and start saving for a bike.

Biggest question is whether I need to start on a 200-300 cc starter bike or if I'll have self control to jump onto what I really want (ideally ~600-750 CC naked bike, preferring Monsters and Thruxtons). I want to get the better one as soon as I can afford it, but I'd also rather not die. I don't believe I could ever have just a bike, but my life won't be complete without one.

Nedra Fresneda 29.02.2012 | 2 wheel guy here. |
Chuck Peretto 29.02.2012 | I don't ride in the rain. I prefer to keep my bike clean, both from dirt and from cosmetic damage. I would say between cars and bikes I definitely put more money and upkeep into my bike then I do the car. I believe another argument that could be made is sport or cruiser? I've always ridden sport, but am considering going to a Harley? Not quite convinced to yet though. |

Leeanna Ayla 29.02.2012 | I've got more lifetime miles on two wheels than four. I ride everyday year round minus ice and snow. I like it when it's cold, when it's hot, when it's raining, when it's dirty and whenever else I'm on the bike.

Stefania Herb 29.02.2012 | big grumbely V8's have the ability to scare the shit outta people. thats always a plus. and its easier to shag a bird on the bonnet of a camaro or charger then on the back of a bike |
nayit ruiz jaramillo 29.02.2012 | As stupid as the "cats or Dogs" debate. Cats rule. |

Johnetta Olewine 29.02.2012 | Motorcycles are one of the greatest things ever invented . But there are 2 major downfalls. It rains and they let a a trained monkey drive a car. But there is very little in this world that compares to being within a couple of centimeters off the ground at a physically ridiculous speed. |
