A question of subwoofers.

Hey guys,

So a few friends and I were looking to buy a sub for our system in one of our friends garage but we are pretty inexperienced and not sure what to even look for. Basically our intention is to fill the two car garage with bass that has some degree of definition. We have narrowed it down to two choicediles more or less.

Choice one:

Choice two:

or a stage sub similar...the main dilemma we have is basically the stage sub vs the supercube. We all have our opinions but we cant seem to settle on a conclusion...would love some insight on the matter.

Hey , get the behringer. HT subs are heavy, uncarriable, and are extremely more reliable than HT boxes, which were never designed to be moved around. and you're talking a 8" vs a 15"... and, also, behringer offers a 18" version of that box, get that, it's cheap and reliable

Subs are for bass music... They play the bass in them. So pump it up and enjoy!! :P

I was faced with a similar dilemma a while ago, and whilst i could hook a Hifi type sub up to my Mixer, it was seriously lacking. I scrapped that and got a proper stage sub and it eats up anything you throw at it.

Go with the stage sub, its designed for larger places and should fill a garage nicely i believe. The one i have thats a w1600 and it's a beast. Rattles roof tiles and makes the DVD's/Rum bottles on my bookshelf jump about!

If you put to much stress on that super cube it will cut out, a buddy of mine has one. Great for home theater use, but not something I would use for Djing.
