Attn: Rules Reminder Posted on: 14.08.2011 by Latoria Kavulich This is an ALL AGES community
. The Off Topic section is pretty much open to any discussions you want but from now on any threads related to adult content (you know what i mean) drug use or other inappropriate / controversial subjects will be deleted and warnings will be given. Any thread that degrades to nothing more than a slanging match will be closed also. To be honest a few of you are pushing it. Please read Tekki's Sticky. Thanks guys. Peace, Jesse | |

Leeanna Ayla 19.09.2011 | The problem with having drug related threads is that those wil inevitably end in an argument between members. Those arguments take away from the purpose of this site. Not to mention that in most cases the drugs in question are illegal and we do not condone any illegal behavior on here. |
Matthew Yanagisawa 19.09.2011 | Drug related posts should not be banned. They are part of the clubbing lifestyle therefore related to the DJ industry. There are many songs, flyers, cd covers, dj names, etc related to the drug subculture and after the www bubble burst they have disseminated well across the world into a very well understood subject kinda "meh". IMHO and in any case, the important rule about drug discussions is that they must be understood as fundamentally bad and destructive to the person and it's social and health environment. Thats a inb4 thing to such threads. That said, what should be banned about drug related posts is methods of getting them, process it, grow it, mail it and any other obvious thing that would get DJTT in problems with the law. Even more if you come here with an unlawful approach to drugs the banhammer should strike with all it's might and glory immediately. The only debate I have been keen to start but havent is to ask about drug legalization. Since this is an international community , I have been curious about the approach given to such subject. Maybe if alcohol was ilegal, like it was in the 50's, threads like "I am drunkz" should be closed? Maybe the community must follow the rules of the location of it's servers? Anyhow, the most controversial subjects I find, even they have signs in bars, barber shops, cafeterias, etc, are religion and politics. |

Len Lukawski 19.08.2011 | See Mods, all you need is one really good cake picture and some basic (but ultimately useless) german phrases in your back pocket. My work here is done... |
Margie Pavell 19.08.2011 | they make a good car...ever tried to drive a car made of cake?..although it smells good...crap gas mileage... |
Len Lukawski 19.08.2011 | The idea was to get everyone focused on something we all love, which turns out to be Germans, not cake surprisingly |

Tatum Ansaldo 18.08.2011 | You sure about that Jes? Banning talk of 'controversial subjects' almost sounds like killing off any kind of debate. I've always liked this community
and I totally understand why this thread came about, but that's starting to sound like over policing. I know you guys have a tough job, but just had to say that. |
Latoria Kavulich 17.08.2011 | added "other controversial subjects" to the sticky so we are all on the same page, and the poor mods dont get accused of subject bias |

Leeanna Ayla 17.08.2011 | Nada you can talk about any of that all you want. As soon as people start acting like idiots and arguing about it it will be closed though. We've closed Traktor vs Serato threads, Mac Vs PC threads and many others because people were not able to discuss those things as mature adults. |
