Whats your dream Dj Setup? Posted on: 25.10.2010 by Candy Vardy Hey guys, well I thought I would make this thread out of curiousity. If you could have any kind of Dj setup no limit in how much $$$ what would you want? For me I dont believe you need a huge expensive setup to be "set" just the good old regular stuff, but going large. Well I would want:Macbook Pro 15" 2 X Pioneer CDJ 2000's Pioneer DJM 800 NI Maschine NI Kontrol X1 Sennheiser Hd 25 ii = SET!! Total $$$ = $7860.00 :eek: Man I believe I've got a hell of alot of saving to do before I get any of that! I just gotta keep dreaming until then, lol. So whars your's guys? | |

| Lauretta Ehrhorn 23.09.2012 | Really happy with my setup. Running a Xone S2 rotary rack mounted with 2 Technics 1200s and a Novation Twitch sitting underneath the S2. SSD Mac runs great. Want to add an isolator (ARS 3500 looks sweet) and i'd like a pair of Denon SC3900's or Pioneer 2000's. The CDJ's aren't essential though as i've always preferred turntables. I have a pair of midifighters that aren't getting used currently. My favourite part of my setup is my converted garage which houses 5000 records and my gear. I can play away till the early hours and not disturb anyone. |

| Reyes Rickaby 23.04.2012 | My dream setup, 4 Pioneer CDJ 2000s, a DJM 2000 (that touchscreen control is awesome, don't know why more products haven't featured touch screens?) Sennheiser HD 25-1 II's, all running Virtual DJ Pro (I know, i know, but I've used it, traktor and serato and its my person favorite as far as user interface). Everything laid out clearly, waveforms are great imo, and not all of the bells and whistles of traktor as i rarely use the terrible effects/sample decks anyway. |

| Dorie Scelzo 18.04.2012 | In dream world, yes. For free. Along with a vinyl pressing plant. And a club to own and play at that always has awesome patrons and no douche bags. And a label. And a lot of time and inspiration to actually use all of it. And a girlfriend I really love who's willing to let me keep Emma Watson and Michelle Trachtenberg as pets (or that is one of them and is cool with the other being a pet). And an old Ducati to get to my studio. The only realistic things in there are the DJ setups (sum of gear…not duplicates), the iMac, the UAD card/package, some of the synths, and the controllers, and some of the mics…there really isn't a reason to get a budget copy of an SM-57, for example. Oh…and the rooms. And, really, no one needs all that stuff. If this were a "realistic" dream thread…the list would be shorter and probably cheaper. But still…for an actual mid/big-budget studio, that list is cheap for the capabilities it offers. |
