beaubryte's Setup
beaubryte's Setup Posted on: 21.09.2012 by Claire Auyeung 10691605073_ea35d2739e_z.jpgBuilt a new room for my gear, added some new devices and changed workflow. Here it is, my own home studio. This is my personal DJ booth for playing and recording DJ mixes, samples and vocals. Multiple artists/dj's can play simultaneously, so I'm always in for a jam. The digital vinyl system is my main 2-deck mix setup, I love (digital) vinyl for about 20 years now. I prefer the big knobs and buttons on my mixer and love the whole physical aspect of mixing with records. During the years I added Traktor Scratch, Maschine, S2 and an X1 to compliment my turntable setup. So this is my fun kit. The S4/F1/MF3D Kit is for playing out and for routines with lots of loops and samples. It's very portable and yet powerful enough to cover any gig. I feel more confident using turntables, but I rather bring my own gear to avoid any surprises in the DJ booth. The section on the right is for editing, beat making and various additional purposes, like mapping, vocals and guitars. 10722287945_3426e5f9ef.jpg 10722289475_503a2f9c9c.jpg 10722378126_627de1307a.jpg 10722370004_665009fe5a.jpg 2012 (previous studio) See my [Gear List] @ Gearjunkies | |

Phebe Marthey 25.08.2013 | Great setup! Is that the fluorescent Traktor vinyl? I thought that only worked with old versions of Traktor scratch. |

Gaylord Lomerson 27.07.2013 | Very nice Studio room my friend |
Claire Auyeung 27.07.2013 | The sliding door is for some extra security, all exterior windows and doors on my house have them. They're very common in Europe |
Ervin Calvery 26.07.2013 | Amazing but wait-what-huh what is the slide-y garage door thing at the end? Is that normal in the Netherlands? |
Wilton Keuning 26.07.2013 | I have officially shit all of my pants. |
Claire Auyeung 26.07.2013 | Moved my DJ booth to the garage to make some room in the house for my newborn baby girl. I designed a box-inside-a-box for best isolation, so I rebuilt all walls from scratch. Did some basic isolation and sound proofing too, my neighbors are still happy so far. Here's a quick video how it looks now: |

Shery Bergson 25.09.2012 | I don't know what I love more, your S2 mapping or that setup. How about both? |
