Pioneer DDJ-SP1?
Pioneer DDJ-SP1? Posted on: 21.06.2013 by Lillian Morch Got this from a friend who works at an Pioneer Service Center. I'm guessing a single player controller. What do you guys believe? This is a screenshot from the tool they use to report problems with pioneer products. 973887_10200649430052698_576174061_n.jpg | |
Dalton Whaples 24.06.2013 | Anyone else notice at the bottom it looks like DDJ WEGO 2? Am I late to the party or is this something new too? |
Alphonso Deitchman 24.06.2013 | The R1 has Colour FX and Beat FX per channel, which is much more similar to the DJM850 than the 350. |

In my line of work, someone not only got a hold of the POS software we wrote for our company within our company, they reverse engineered it to have a slightly different GUI. They successfully ran that software in their business for about 6 months before it was discovered. Needless to say we won the suit. For a cdj knockoff one has to look no further than gemini. Theyre jog wheel is even identical to the 800 aside from the dots facing a different direction. The ipod touch was pretty much a direct knock off already of previous devices such as the ipaq. Apple saw what HP did and improved upon it making it more user friendly and media driven. The original Ipod was a good design which didnt have any knockoffs that I can remember, but at its release the market had already ben flooded with mp3 and mp3/cd players. |

If I was running things at a DJ company I'd be posting sketches, renders, spec lists, everything to Facebook/DJTT from day 1; from concept all the way through to production. |

Doreen Schurle 22.06.2013 | If Pioneer DID release a single-platter modular controller, and it works with Traktor, that MIGHT be the first Pioneer product I'd actually consider buying. Unfortunately, it'd probably be stupidly expensive. |
Rebbecca Fennell 22.06.2013 | I like serato DJ, loved my V7 s so if this ends up being something like that (especially if it plays nicely with the my ddjsx), I'm all about it |
Kellie Myrum 22.06.2013 | Well the T1 official traktor mapping from pioneer site doesn't even have the jog wheels mapped in and you wont even find any custom mapping available online. No wonder why. I've mapped many serato and vdj controllers in traktor so that shouldn't be the case with S1 unless any of those controllers are sending some controls via HID natively. |
Rolanda Clodfelder 22.06.2013 | So this might be the equivalent of a Numark V7 but from Pioneer ? ... hmmmm sounds VERY interesting. |

Kellie Myrum 21.06.2013 | Pio controllers are PITA for traktor mappings or at least S1 and T1 that people were coming to look help for. |
Isa Erik 21.06.2013 | sooo....probably a Serato DJ single platter controller (like PL-1 and SC2000) based on the DDJ-SX (chop of the mixer section and voila!). Hope it will come with a Traktor mapping (official) |
