Here are the updated settings for TPRO2 http://www.djendo.com/traktor

Also make sure that in the Traktor Controller manager your ports are set correctly for the Maschine controller. Select Maschine in the device dropdown menu and set both the "In Port" and "Out Port" to Maschine. Then it should work like a charm!
It was probably me no setting the In and Out Ports correctly, because i know for a fact that the controller editor and TSI files were loaded correctly. Believe me, me and my friend sat and struggled for hours trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Ooh the frustrations we had lol

Actually, the Maschine would work but it wouldn't be all the correct mappings like the one you demonstrated in your video. And it would be very glitchy as well. Dunno what was wrong with it. But thanks a lot for your help! Tomorrow when i have energy I'm going to start experimenting with the settings once again. I had really given up on it working!

One of the big reasons i was interested in using the Maschine and Traktor together is because i believe i could create something really cool utilizing both the Maschine and possibly the S2. The Maschine really is an awesome piece of hardware.

I still use the S4 sometimes, and I'm loving the S2!

The X1's are a great tool for teaching people how to use Traktor.

I use it all in different situations. The mothership video was more to show people how many controllers you can hook up to a PC and have it all work together. Microsoft asked me to do the video. I wouldn't use all that gear at a live show though. Its unnecessary. But I could!

Also a soon to be announced Traktor update is making me really love using vinyl with Traktor again!

Glad to be a part of the community!
Ah I knew i recognized your name from somewhere! Lol

I absolutely digged your vid on youtube about mashing the MASCHINE with Traktor. Unfortunatly though (this was before i had tables or a controller) I couldn't get my NI Maschine to work correctly with the settings you provided. What a bummer right?

But the video still looked really amazing. Really useful stuff. I even tried mapping the Maschine myself, but to no avail.

Ha! All the good ones were taken!

Seriously though, it's not for lack of effort.

I had a short list of like 50 names I was considering for a DJ name, but each time I came up with a good one, I'd veto it the next day. Once I started doing gigs, I found it was easier from a social networking perspective to just use my real name. In my city - Winnipeg - we have a influx of DJs with all kinds of retarded names, no-one can remember them but their close friends, and they all mostly play the same stuff electro and dubstep bangers. I've been mostly successful at making myself stand out by being genre neutral, and by shaking a lot of hands and introducing myself, as myself

Holy cow!

This was never meant to annoy anyone and also never meant to express things the way you understood it. Changed my picture slightly, even though i never had a halo in mind. This picture was taken in a club, right in front of a luminated window. My artist name is my firstname just in a reordered way, there is no further meaning.
