Help with frustration controller conflictions... Hey guys and gals, I need some help with my controller mappings for the Hercules DJ Control Steel. On the DJ Control Steel there is a SHIFT button located above 6 other toggle buttons (CC 1-6) on each deck so that, when pressed, the buttons become CC 100-106. As it is currently set up, CC 1-6 control loop size INC, DEC, loop SET, NEXT cue, DEL cue, and PREV cue. I wish to set up CC 100-106 for my chained FX. My ultimate goal is so that when the shift button is pressed, effect amounts are no longer controlled by the existing knobs, but instead by a couple faders and the jog-wheels because they are comfortable for me to work with and allow for quick changes and oscillations. HERE'S THE PROBLEM: The shift button is labeled as BOTH CC 19 AND CC 115. When I add a modifier to this button to state that when pressed, FX 1 amount is controlled by jog-wheel and so-on, it doesn't work. I tried adding the modifier to apply to both CC 19 and 115, but it takes two presses of the SHIFT button for the modifier to take hold, defeating it's purpose. If I have to press the button twice, it switches my loop control buttons to FX and then back again. I'm looking for some suggestions as to how anyone might map this for the desired effect. Hopefully I explained this well and it's not too confusing. Thanks, Kai | |
