Reply to Traktor/Vestax mapping troubles

Hello, I'm pretty new into the world of DJing but I have a vestax spin and a mac pro and I was looking at mapping tutorials and came across some threads where people had already done them but I can't really figure out how to use them seeing as the files were .xml. I tried mapping it myself but failed miserably. Anyone know how I can get my system running with traktor?
