| Elmo Capria 18.07.2011 | Ok, so I have nano Pad on channel 3 and nano Kontrol on channels 2 and 4. I believe that I have something to set in traktor, beacause both devices are mapped correctly. EDIT: Ok, now everything works fine. When I've chosen All Ports it worked. Thanks for help! |
| Valeri Delossantos 17.07.2011 | allright bro so do this.. instead of me typing a huge text about the mappings and all just go on youtube and search for tutorials on traktor mappings so you can actually see how it's done... I learned that way and I'm pretty sure that if you have a couple of hours on your hand to dedicate to that you're gonna get it fast.. it's really not that hard.... and if after that you still having problems using multiple controllers just post it more specific in here and I'll be glad to help you out =D |

If anyone interested I have my mapping available... for now I did only the internal mixer setup when I play only with my mac. (I bought it to get the eq control in external mixer to complement my urei 1620 at first) So far on scene 1, I have access to all deck volume faders, all EQ low, Gain setting on focus, FX1, FX2 for all Decks, FX1 advanced settings (X4 + 3 buttons), Fx2 Chained or Advanced settings (X4 + 3 buttons), Deck Focus, monitor volume, cue select (X4 with a shift), Deck Size (ab direct, cd shifted) + transport panel (play,...) Scene 2: I control the filter amount and on/off (X4) + button on/off (X4) + button filter reset (X4) I use the scene to select my track and load them into deck (toggle browser, list up / down, assign to deck A, b, c, d and seek position (focus only) Scene 3: I've got it 2 days ago so so far, it's only to play with loop on focus with size select, on/of great I was to lazy to document my settings and now it's done :-) Thanks again for this great site!!!!! |

| Al Henger 08.11.2009 | really like the kontrol mapping... but for me, it kind of makes more sense for the 1st knob to control the filter, rather than the gain, as I almost never mess with that knob (do all the pre gain settings before hand). |

| Melissa Westerhouse 05.11.2009 | I watched the video on mapping my nanokontrol and like your maps I have worked on some of my own and decided not to use different scenes, I hate the faders jumping around and am afraid I will forget what scene I am in during a mix and trainwreck... all this to say I am having trouble getting my button lights to work correctly. I need my 2,3,6,7 to be momentary. I changed it in the korg software but... I press 2 (fx send deck 1) the light comes on, but to turn it off I have to press the button twice and the light is now not in sync with the screen. I know I have to set the light preferences to "toggle" in the korg software, but I am not sure what to set traktor to. i have tried all the settings in traktor... what am I doing wrong? laptop... nanokontrol |
| Joannie Brague 05.11.2009 | It's cool. It's better than the pad for sure. The pad already broke on me, but they shipped me a new one for free. The kontrol feels better. In the end it's still just a cheap little controller, but for 60 bucks it's not bad. |

I'll take your map and mod it to fit my workflow as soon as I buy the nano. And what about the durability and usability of the nanoKontrol? Ean didn't review the Kontrol so I don't know anything about it since I don't have it yet. |
| Valeri Delossantos 04.11.2009 | advance effects have a different mapping pattern, I'm pretty sure it's impossible to make it work both ways automatically.... if you want to use the advanced effects methos you'll have to remap it friend |

| Joannie Brague 23.10.2009 | No problem im actually updating the nano again haha. this time it's a riff off of eans oxygen 8 mappings, with some of my ideas along with it. so i'll have that up. I just deleted the browser scene (4) on the nano kontrol, i found that I didn't use it and useing it for cues, loops, and echos, samples was much more intuitive. stay tuned. |
