Thanks to many contributors of DJTT community s (Str8upDrew, l0rdr0ck, alex8337 and others) I was finally able to get my launchpad fully mapped and ready for combat! Since I am fairly new to midi mapping this took me about a week to finalize, so I decided I would share with other members. Here is a layout of the mapping I have put together. The beatphase LED was just for fun but I decided to leave it, sort responds like KIT's lights from Kevening Rider but to the beat. The mapping has complete and colorful LED feedback response. This mapping is for Traktor Pro and does not use Automap.

Hope this mapping will be of use to some of you other DJs. I have included all the .tsi files along with midi yoke and bome's inside the .rar file

Thanks again for everyone's hard work in helping me learn midi mapping! Enjoy

Ok so I'm like 80% finished with the rotate remap.(1 turn counter clockwise) the only unfinished are the new 18 pads that I will be dedicating to samples and loop recording. I need some testers to try it out and see how it performs. I have also done much work on the LEDs so hopefully those with issues this will be the proper fix.

-Left Side EQ kills (Bottom 3 Deck B, Top 3 Deck A)
-old master and sync are now browsing features
-Hold modifier toggles between list and tree when held
-Beat Sync is now the Beat Phase Monitor
-Track loading is Modifer+Play (I only allow deck to loaded when stopped)
-Modifier is the same that deletes hotcues

Please post back all bugs, questions and comments, thanks!

-Snap

Has anyone been using these functions soley from the launchpad?

Im hoping that an entire re-map will also fix this problem with users experiencing crashes due to LED feedback.
I dont use any of the top/side buttons for the above functions as most of it is mapped to my reloop2.

I have changed the side buttons to quick jump to a pre defined master tempo.

I believe a more control over the sample deck would be very usefull. atm i dont really the sample decks as ive got no buttons setup.

I have been giving some thought to re-mapping some of these functions as I run the launchpad alongside a vci 100 with a slightly adapted djtt mapping. I've been playing about with more control over sample decks, although I hate having to use Traktors mapping screen & I can't seem to find the midi mapping for idiots guide anywhere on amazon! I'd be interested to see what you come up with.
Peace.

In order for this mapping to work the effects in the settings have to be in the correct order (see page 10 of this thread). But the mapping for the VCI-100 from DJTT has a different order of effects for its presets, meaning that you can't have this mapping and the standard djtt vci-100 mapping at the same time.

Does anybody know how to get around this issue?

Currently using driver 2.1b3.exe as far as I can see this is the latest beta driver available.

ALWAYS uninstall old drivers before installing new ones. This is a general Windows rule for EVERYTHING.

2.1 is the latest final release build. However, bugs are still there and they then begin working on beta versions, i.e. not yet ready for final release. These are labelles as 2.1a, 2.1b, 2.1c etc etc. When they reach a stage where they believe it's ready for a final build release, they'll upload it as version 2.2 onto their site and the newest version.

Therefore, the beta version are simply the steps through bug fixes between 2.1 and 2.2.

Uninstall current driver, install the latest beta version and give it a try.

You say you have fixed the crash issues? how did you do it as I would like to try it on the older mapping as I dont want to use your new one due to the features I wont use.

Thanks again for you hard work mate its really appreciated but your last version was better for my style of djing and workflow so I am going to stick with that.

Sounds good. I will update my latest mapping with all the features you use and post it back. I wasnt sure if anyone was actually using the sample decks. I will re add them, and use the original instant grat fx.

Replaced Lo-Fi FX with a quick Turntable Stop FX
New beat phase monitor (More accurate for matching)
Changed colors of decks
Fixed LED feedback for those with problems
Removed Sample Deck playback (Using X1 now for that)

in my latest mapping I have found that triggering a sample from the same pad that triggers the Turntable Stop FX sounds really great together. I am working on a few sounds right now to use this with, and will post once I finalize them with an updated mapping aswell.

WHAT FEATURES WOULD YOU LIKE TO SEE ADDED/REMOVED FOR THE NEXT UPDATE?

No Problem! That's a great idea and would be useful to me aswell. I'm not sure if its possible though without 3rd party software though. Does anyone know if you can map a modifier to toggle on/off and allow the launchpad another page without using any 3rd parties?

how can I change the phaser for the correct filter sweep as I believe the phaser sounds a bit cheesy plus it impacts on the supercombo effects
In the Assignment table under the control column, find "Effect Select 2" for "FX Unit 1" then click the box with phaser and change it to desired effect.

Hey guys, first up thank you all for the hard work in preparing the original mapping and also the efforts in solving the mysterious crashing, I just don't have the time to spare.

Alas, none of the above fixes have worked for me either (led fix tsi & novation driver update) the only way I can get it running stable is by disabling the midi out port as per my work around. There also seems to be no particular pattern as to when it does crash, so this doesn't help in trying to narrow it down!!! I shall try spend a bit of time on it today, altho the sun is shining & I have a day off.
